Your questions. Your agenda.
The MARKENKRAFT Executive Circle brings together a carefully selected group of senior leaders for an open and confidential exchange on the strategic challenges of modern brand building.
Rather than following a predefined conference programme, the agenda is shaped by the questions, priorities and real-world challenges participants bring into the room.
Together with Olaf Hartmann, Uwe Munzinger and special guest Mark Ritson, participants explore one central question:
How can Brand Experience become a sustainable source of growth, pricing power and resilience?
The discussions combine the latest evidence from international brand research with practical experience from leading brands and organisations.
The day concludes with an exclusive private dinner with Mark Ritson at The Fontenay, creating additional space for candid conversations and meaningful connections.

“I’m looking forward to fresh perspectives and inspiring exchange in this special circle.”

Mark Ritson
Mark Ritson is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading brand strategists. He holds a PhD in Marketing and spent 25 years as a marketing professor, teaching at institutions including London Business School, the University of Minnesota, Melbourne Business School and MIT. His MBA teaching has received numerous awards.
Alongside his academic career, he has advised global brands such as Baxter, McKinsey, Subaru, Donna Karan, Johnson & Johnson, De Beers, Sephora, Shiseido, Ericsson and WD-40. For thirteen years, from 2002 to 2015, he served as in-house brand strategist for LVMH, working closely with leadership teams across brands including Louis Vuitton, Dom Pérignon and Hennessy.
For more than two decades, Mark has written weekly columns for leading industry publications. He is a seven-time winner of the PPA Columnist of the Year Award and has been named Business Columnist of the Year multiple times by the British Society of Magazine Editors. His work has appeared in publications including the Sloan Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Advertising and Journal of Consumer Research.
His co-authored research on pricing was cited by Nobel Prize winner George Akerlof in his Nobel Lecture. He has received numerous honours, including the Sir Charles McGrath Award from the Australian Marketing Institute and an Honorary Fellowship from the IPA.
Today, Mark focuses on his globally renowned Mini MBA programmes. He lives in Tasmania with 3 Tasmanians plus many idiot rescue dogs. He has a boat that he never uses. And a gym that he uses even less. But he does find time to drink wine, usually in his underpants, until very early in the morning marvelling at the absurdity of it all.
